Workflow types

  • Standard: tối đa 1 năm, exactly-once, trả phí theo state transition. Cho long-running business workflow.
  • Express: tối đa 5 phút, at-least-once (Async) hoặc Sync; trả theo số invoke & duration. Cho high-volume ETL, IoT.

Patterns

  • Task with optimized integration (Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB…).
  • Wait for callback (.waitForTaskToken): chờ external system ACK.
  • Parallel & Map (inline / distributed) để chạy song song.
  • Saga pattern: mỗi bước có compensation nếu fail.
  • Catch/Retry với exponential backoff thay cho code retry thủ công.
